You're exactly right. Start by changing the boot order in the BIOS to boot from CD (or just click F12 during startup and choose CD). This will boot from your Windows Server 2003 CD. During the installation process, there will be an option to format the hard drive. Choose it, and then continue the installation process to install Windows Server 2003.
