How do i fix a corrupted file on NBA 2k11?

well i accidentaly turned off my Xbox 360 when it was exiting out of the my player mode. and now whenever i go into NBA 2k11 it says my whole file is corrupt and then it says press A to continue. so i do. and then it says are you sure you want to overwrite a this file and then i press no and it takes me to my account but now whenever i play my player mode it doesn't save my Jordans. and also if i do overwrite my profile will it delete my my players. because i have one that is on overall 99 and everything is maxed out and what other consequences would happen if i decided to overwrite the file. also what would you suggest to do and why???
