Why won't my 32 inch Vizio Plasma screen TV turn on?

I have a 32 inch Vizio Plasma screen TV, and it won't turn on. I have it plugged in, but the emblem does not turn orange, nor does it turn white when pressing the power button; it's like there is no power going to the unit at all. Someone please help me out.
