How can I play The Whispered World without serial?

When you have mounted the dvd using daemon tools go to install and type in a random serial number. Back when i was still a pc gamer and download skidrow torrents, if it still asked for a serial, then any random serial would work. If it does not work, google the serial. Only use what has actually been posted in a forum/blog/whatever. I always find them really fast.
