Should I prestige on MW2, Ive heard positives and negatives about it?

I'm currently like 36 i think. I've heard that you get custom class slots and new titles and emblems.Ive also heard that it doesn't take as long to level up after you prestige.Plus it would also get boring if there was no challenge after reaching 70. The only negative is losing your guns,equipment,etc.
