Internet Browsing History - What happens to it on your hard drive?

Basically, nothing is ever really gone from a hard drive. Even after it has been "over written" it can still be retrieved with the right software and/or by someone who knows what they are doing. What you need is file shredding software. This software makes it harder for data to be retrieved after it is deleted and "shredded."
