Computer sits on black screen during startup?

Theres 2 things that could be affected. Either, you have so many files and programs That makes your computer slow, or your computer does not have enough RAM. What i would do is scan for viruses and delete/backup files and programs you dont need. That should speed up your computer. If its still slow, consider upgrade your RAM. I had a same problem with yours and mine works fast like a charm.
